Alfresco was brought to life in 2020, with the pandemic in full swing and homemade sourdough a big craze. What started in our small kitchen at home with just one oven, baking only sourdough bread, has now turned into an artisanal bakery focusing on the idea that homemade treats are not always perfect but they definitely are the best.
Our Craft
The star of Alfresco is undoubtedly its artisanal bread. From crusty sourdough loaves to bagels and focaccia, each one bears the signature touch of skilled hands. The traditional method of allowing the dough to undergo a slow fermentation process results in the bread boasting a perfect balance of chewiness and flavour.
